Join Our Speaker Sourcing Contest Final in Stockholm

Join our FREE Speaker Sourcing Contest finale on Wednesday 15 August at the Coor Conference Center in Stockholm.

What a ride these last few months have been! Our shiny, brand new Speaker Sourcing Contest set out earlier this year to find individuals with fresh perspectives and management ideas and give them a platform to speak – it was our new initiative to crowdsource talent on an entirely new scale and bring to light some of the best that business has to offer. It was an instant hit! In May and June 2018, we hosted qualifying rounds in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Oslo. Two audience favorites from each location were selected for the final round in Stockholm.

The final will take place on Wednesday 15 August in which 6 finalists will speak about this year’s themes of strategy, peak performance, and artificial intelligence.

Are you able to come to the final? It’s a free event that is packed full of really high-quality content. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn more about Nordic Business Forum conference material and give you the chance to network with other attendees for a fun and relaxed social evening. And, most importantly, you get to help decide who will make it to NBForum 2018!

Not able to join us in person? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with our online live-stream broadcast. Keep reading!

Watch the Live Stream

If you’ll be joining in online, you do not have to register ahead of time. Just follow these steps:
  • Website. Go to www.nbforum.com/contest on Wednesday 15 August a few minutes before 15:00 Swedish time. The live stream video player will be shown at the top of the screen. If you don’t see it for any reason, you can find the live stream broadcast on our Facebook page and YouTube channel too.
  • Voting. To be able to participate in the voting process, you need to start watching the program at 15:00 Swedish time sharp before the first speaker’s presentation. A link will be shown on screen for a few minutes and you will be instructed to go to that link to register your email address. This will let us send you the survey with which you can vote.
  • Take notes. The presentations will run from 15:00 to 17:00, roughly. After this, you will receive the voting survey by email. You will have a few minutes to fill it in, so we recommend that you take notes of your scores for each speaker along the way. Each speaker is rated on a scale of 1 (worst) to 6 (best).
  • Break time. We will close the survey to compile the results and take a short break while our jury panel deliberates giving an answer.
  • Winner. After the break, the winner will be announced on stage, so be sure to keep watching!

(Punctuality is going to be important here, so make sure you put this in your calendar!)
