4 Ways to Experience Nordic Business Forum 2026

Nordic Business Forum 2026 is almost here! On September 16–17, thousands of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers will gather in Helsinki to explore the Human Edge — the uniquely human capabilities that matter in a world increasingly transformed by AI.

But as this is our 15th Nordic Business Forum in Finland, we’ve come to notice that there’s no single “right” way to experience the event.

Maybe you’re coming with a clear learning goal. Maybe you’re attending to meet new people. Maybe you want to make the most of everything happening around the Main Stage. Or perhaps you’re determined to do it all. And if you’re not joining us in person this year, you can still be part of the experience.

Here are four ways to make NBF 2026 your own:

If You’re Joining Us in Person:

1. Come to learn

If your main goal is to leave NBF with new ideas and practical inspiration, make learning your priority. Start by looking through the agenda and getting familiar with what’s coming. This year’s sessions explore the Human Edge through perspectives on decision-making, performance, and collaboration.

But don’t stop when the keynote ends. The Notebook (you’ll get yours upon arrival to the venue) is designed to help you turn inspiration into action, with sections dedicated to goal setting, making learning last, developing your thought leadership, and moving from insights to action.

And remember: some of the best learning can happen between sessions, too. Follow additional discussions at the HS Visio Live Studio, drop into the Executive Café for short conversations with our partners, explore the SEB Stage, or simply ask someone you’ve just met what idea they found most interesting so far.

-> Your mission: Pick three ideas you want to take home. And decide before you leave what you’ll do differently because of them.

2. Come to network

If your main reason for coming is people, make space for conversations. The NBF 2026 event app, Brella, might just be your best friend for that. Use it to discover people who share your interests, connect with other attendees, and book 1:1 meetings in the dedicated meeting area.

And don’t wait for a formal introduction. The Extreme Extroverts Area is designed for spontaneous conversations, while the partner experience areas around the Networking Area offer plenty of natural conversation starters.

Even a casual break can become an opportunity to connect with someone new. Grab a coffee and talk to a stranger in the queue, challenge someone to an arcade game, or simply ask the person sitting next to you what brought them to NBF.

-> Your mission: Have one conversation you wouldn’t have had if you had stayed in your usual bubble.

3. Come for the experience

There’s a lot happening at NBF beyond the Main Stage. Explore the restaurants, food trucks, and buffets around the venue. Step into the Karaoke Booth with an old colleague or a new connection. Recharge in the Relax & Think Area with hammocks, noise-cancelling headphones, tea, and short massages.

Need fresh air? Head to the Outdoor Area. Want to create a memory? Stop by the 360 Photobooth. Feeling competitive? Challenge someone to a round of arcade games.

The point is simple: explore, pause, play, eat, talk, and discover.

-> Your mission: Leave the Main Stage at least once with no particular plan and see what you find.

4. Come for all of the above

The best part is that at NBF, you actually can have it all!

The most memorable NBF experience might be a keynote that changes how you think, followed by a conversation that opens a new door, a spontaneous moment that makes you laugh, and a quiet few minutes to reflect on what it all means.

So build your agenda around the sessions you care about, but leave room for the unexpected. NBF is not only what happens on stage. It’s the combination of learning, connections, and experiences that makes the two days what they are.

-> Your mission: Don’t try to experience everything. Try to experience the things that matter most to you.
