Nordic Business Forum donated a skateboard ramp to City of Jyväskylä

At this year’s Nordic Business Forum our event partners TAPAUS and DDB organized a mini skating ramp competition which was judged by no other than the skating legend Tony Hawk. The mini ramp signed by Hawk was donated to City of Jyväskylä.

Tony Hawk was one of the speakers of Nordic Business Forum 2016, so it was only appropriate that we had some skateboarding action in the event as well.

As a part of their event partnership, TAPAUS and DDB organized a charity skateboarding event called Business Sk8 For Good where the next generation of business influencers came together in a mini ramp jam. The event took place right after the second seminar day and the contest finals were judged by Tony Hawk. The competition raised altogether 7,000 euros for charity.

After the event, Nordic Business Forum wanted to donate the ramp to the company’s hometown Jyväskylä. Now the ramp is located by the lake Jyväsjärvi. The ramp was custom built for the event and it is signed by Tony Hawk himself.
