Get Acquainted with the Event

We recommend you take some time to get to know our speakers and our event info. We have also collected frequently asked questions here.

Visit our event page to learn about our speakers backgrounds and the topics they’ll cover. For additional insights, check out our blog and get to know the speakers even more!

It’s also good to take a look at the detailed agenda to make sure you won’t miss anything you might find interesting. On the detailed agenda, you will find everything that is going on at the event. For example interviews and debates. Reviewing the schedule in advance will help you plan your day and ensure you don’t miss any sessions that catch your interest.

Dress Code

We don’t have any official dress code, but many of our attendees opt for a business casual look. We will not be judging your fashion choices. We simply recommend wearing something that makes you feel both comfortable and confident, especially if you plan to network!

To accommodate guests with allergies and sensitivities, we kindly request you to avoid wearing perfumes, colognes, and other strong scents. Thank you for helping us maintain a scent-free space!

Arrival

We highly recommend using public transportation for sustainability and to avoid traffic and parking costs. Messukeskus is easily accessible by bus, tram, and train. You can plan your journey at hsl.fi.

We also have a guarded bicycle park and changing rooms, if you want to bike your way to the event.

During The Event

Food & Drinks

Enjoy a variety of food and non-alcoholic beverages included with your ticket. Lunch will be served at buffet stations on both days, with coffee, tea, and snacks available during breaks. Check out the menu here.

Our buffet catering features fresh, nourishing meals crafted from seasonal ingredients sourced directly from Finnish forests, fields, and waters. From wild game to hand-picked local berries, you’ll experience an authentic taste of Finland – simple, wholesome, and sustainably mind-set.

Lactose-free, gluten-free, and vegan options are available in all buffets. If you have any questions or specific dietary restrictions, just ask our staff with orange scarves and bow ties for help!

To stay hydrated, we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle. Finnish tap water is safe and excellent quality, and there are water refill stations available throughout the venue. You can find their locations on our event map.

Take Notes

Upon entering the event, you’ll receive a notebook and pen. Inside the Nordic Business Forum notebook, you’ll find useful information about the event, along with plenty of blank pages to write down your thoughts throughout the two days. After all, you never know when your next big idea will strike!

Networking Area

Before the event, take a moment to yourself to reflect on your goals. What do you hope to get out of the event? Are you hoping to meet potential clients, find partners, or simply practice your networking skills? Clarity makes every encounter more purposeful.

If you are hoping to make some new connections, it might be a good idea to find out who’s coming from our event app Brella. Prepare a short introduction and have a few conversation starters ready. Share insights and just simply listen well. Great connections grow from mutual value.

Underneath the business attire and behind the fancy titles, we are all human and crave authentic connection. In every encounter, be curious, be empathetic, and be yourself. Authenticity and active listening will go a long way!

Customer care

If you need any assistance, our staff is happy to help and easily recognizable by their orange scarves and bowties. Additionally, there are three information desks located throughout the venue, clearly marked on venue map.

If you need a moment of peace or full silence during the event, we will have a Quiet Room available, room 104 of Messukeskus. Additionally, we have a Relax & Think Area designed to do just that.

Please note that the program contains loud sounds, flashing lights, and possible other luminous stimulations. If you experience any symptoms during the program, remember that you can always turn to our staff for help.

Our Info Desk has sensory toolkits available upon request. Our sensory toolkit includes ear plugs and sunglasses.
If you wish to watch the Main Stage speakers, but avoid the show elements (light & sounds) of the Main Stage area, HS Visio Live Studio in the Networking Area broadcasts the program realtime with seating available.

After The Event

Revisit Highlights

The event recordings will be available until December 31st, excluding the session with Oprah Winfrey, which will be available until October 17th. This extended access gives you plenty of time to catch up on sessions you missed or rewatch the ones that inspired you.

About two weeks after the event, we’ll provide comprehensive package of different learning  materials. We will send you for example written summaries of all Main Stage sessions, visual summaries illustrated by Linda Saukko-Rauta, and the materials our speakers want to share with you.

Stay Connected and Share Your Experience

We’d love to hear about your experience! Perhaps you’ll share your key takeaways in a LinkedIn post? Or share your highlights on Instagram post? Don’t forget to tag us or use our event hashtag #nbforum2026, so other attendees and we can participate in the conversation and reconnect!
