Lawnmowers at a business event? Many guests of Nordic Business Forum 2015 blinked their eyes when the Finnish viral sensation took the stage with their lawnmowers today at Messukeskus Helsinki. The band is called Steve ‘n’ Seagulls. They took the YouTube by storm with their videos of bluegrass versions of well-known hard rock and metal songs. The opening performance of Landfill Harmonic, an orchestra which plays music from instruments made entirely out of garbage, took the audience by surprise at Nordic Business Forum 2015. The Landfill Harmonic is a Paraguayan musical youth group of kids that live next to one of South America’s largest landfills. Last year Sir Ken Robinson brought up their story on his presentation about creativity at Nordic Business Forum 2014.
