Simon Sinek, Isabella Löwengrip, Sahar Hashemi, Morten Hansen,  Avinash Kaushik and Camilla Hessellund Lastein will be speaking at the second Nordic Business Forum conference in Oslo on 9 May 2019 at Folketeateret.

We are delighted to announce the speakers of our next Nordic Business Forum Norway conference. NBFNorway 2019 presents an impressive speaker lineup on strategy and purpose with Simon Sinek, Isabella Löwengrip, Sahar Hashemi, Morten Hansen, Avinash Kaushik and Camilla Hessellund Lastein.

Nordic Business Forum is building leaders who change the world. NBFNorway gathers over 750 attendees, consisting of CEOs, founders, and executives under one roof at the one-day event in Oslo. Simon Sinek, renowned leadership expert and New York Times bestselling author, teaches leaders and organizations how to inspire people. Sinek was one of the audience favorites at our 2015 Nordic Business Forum in Helsinki and we are extremely happy to welcome him back to NBForum stage in Stockholm and Oslo. Sinek is the author of multiple bestselling books, including the global bestseller Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action, New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestsellers Leaders Eat Last: Why Some Teams Pull Together and Others Don’t and Together is Better: A Little Book of Inspiration, and his newest book, Find Your Why: A Practical Guide to Discovering Purpose for You and Your Team.

Swedish-born Isabella Löwengrip is the youngest and most influential social media star in the sphere of empowering female entrepreneurs and supporting women’s work life balance. Veckans Affärer proclaimed Isabella Löwengrip Sweden’s most powerful businesswoman 2018. Today the 27-year old entrepreneur has more than 1.5 million readers a week and has completely changed the way people perceive entrepreneurship, influencer marketing and female self-fulfillment. Isabella is a multi-entrepreneur with more than 50 employees and has over the last four years managed to create the fastest growing beauty company in Sweden, to name just one of their many success stories.

A former solicitor, Sahar Hashemi founded Coffee Republic, the UK’s first US-style coffee bar chain with her brother and built it into one of the UK’s most recognized high street brands with 110 bars and a turnover of £30m. Currently, she is co-chair of the Government Scale Up Taskforce and is actively involved in Change Please Coffee, a social enterprise that trains and hires homeless people to run coffee carts. She is also on the advisory board of BFC Fashion Trust and is a trustee of Roundhouse Theatre and has written 2 books, the bestselling, Anyone Can Do It, Building Coffee Republic from our kitchen table, and Switched On.

Morten Hansen is ranked as one of the world’s most influential management thinkers and a renowned leadership expert. He has written the Wall Street Journal Business Bestseller Great at Work and done award-winning research on leadership, collaboration, innovation and corporate greatness published in top leading academic journals. Hansen has also given keynotes to and advised many Fortune 100 companies, and his work has been covered by Business Week, Fortune, New York Times, The Economist, among others. Hansen is now a management professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and he was also a senior manager at the Boston Consulting Group where he advised corporate clients worldwide.

Avinash Kaushik is the Digital Marketing Evangelist for Google, the co-Founder of Market Motive Inc, an inspiring advisor for companies like P&G, Dell, Porsche and IBM and a top speaker for variety of global conferences such as Search Engine Strategies, Ad-Tech, Monaco Media Forum, iCitizen, JMP Innovators’ Summit, The Art of Marketing and Web 2.0. In addition to his blog, Occam’s Razor, and his best selling books, Web Analytics: An Hour A Day and Web Analytics 2.0, he has lectured at some of the major universities. Kaushik is also on the Advisory Board of University of Toronto Rotman School of Management’s program on CRM Excellence as well as on the Advisory Board of University of California at Irvine’s program on Web Intelligence.

Camilla Hessellund Lastein is the founder and CEO of Lix, one of the biggest digital textbook catalogs in the world, having raised $7.5M in investments by the age of 24, working for the mission to make education accessible to everyone. Camilla has been recognized in the Scandinavian tech community with awards like “Founder of the year 2017”, “Young Leader of the year 2018”, on “The Nordic 100” list 2017, and the “25 And Under” list for Northern Europe from Nordic Business Forum 2018 report.
