Ranking of the Top 20 Women in Business in Northern European was published today in Nordic Business Report. The Top 20 Women ranking covered the whole Northern Europe: Finland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The 23 jury members that compiled the ranking were gathered from different organization representatives of each nine countries. The ranking includes very interesting women. Natalya Kasperskaya, the co-founder of Kaspersky Lab and the chief executive of the Russia-based transnational corporate data security firm InfoWatch Group, took the first place and Tatiana Bakalchuk, Russia’s third wealthiest woman and the owner of the country’s largest online clothing and footwear retail empire, Wildberries, became second. The fourth annual print edition of Nordic Business Report magazine will be published in August 2015. The circulation of the magazine covers Finland, Estonia, Russia and now also Latvia. In Finland, the magazine is delivered as a special issue together with Kauppalehti Optio, in Russia together with Business Petersburg, in Estonia together with Äripäev and in Latvia together with Kapitals. The additional distribution in Latvia increases the circulation of the magazine up to 91,400 (Finland 57,400, Russia 10,000, Estonia 12,000 and Latvia 12,000). The magazine will be also delivered to all 5,500 attendees of Nordic Business Forum 2015 in Finland and internationally, which makes the total circulation 96,900. In addition to the print edition, the magazine will be available online.

A gazelle company is a high-growth company that has profitably doubled its revenues over a four-year period. Nordic Business Report plans to publish the listing once a year. This is done to support both the Finnish high-growth companies and the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Finland. Such listings are annually published in other European countries by the local financial newspapers. Nordic Business Report wants to bring this tradition also to Finland.
