NBForum Internship Company of the Year

Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, together with its student union Helga, have presented Nordic Business Forum with the “Internship company of the year” award.

The award was handed out to Nordic Business Forum’s Head of Customer Experience Salla Seppä by Haaga-Helia’s Planning Director Ari Hälikkä at the annual gala of the student union at Kulosaaren Casino, November 24, 2018.

Nordic Business Forum has collaborated with Haaga-Helia since 2014, involving hundreds of students yearly in its annual main event, Nordic Business Forum in Helsinki, Finland. The event brings together thousands of business executives and decision-makers from across the world.

The contributors to the choice were Haaga-Helia teaching staff, internship coordinators and students themselves. The justification for selecting Nordic Business Forum as the recipient of this year’s award included the following:

  • Long-standing, well-organized collaboration with Haaga-Helia across the disciplines
  • Internship opportunities at Nordic Business Forum to hundreds of students
  • Positive feedback on the collaboration from the students

Aslak de Silva, CEO of Nordic Business Forum: “We are extremely happy and humbled to receive this award by Haaga-Helia and Helga. Our company mission is to build leaders who change the world. Our collaboration with Haaga-Helia is an excellent way for Nordic Business Forum to execute our mission and we take great pride in the our student operations. The customer experience provided by the students in various customer servicing roles at our events has been praised by our event guests and remains among the highest rated aspects of our conferences. We look forward to continuing this collaboration in the future.”
