Who is Björn Wahlroos?

Wahlroos is a distinguished figure in banking and investment in the Nordics. He is also the former chairman of the Board at Sampo Group and UPM-Kymmene. Between 2011 and 2019, Wahlroos was the chairman of the board of Nordea, the largest bank in the Nordic region.

Before he moved to banking, Wahlroos served as a professor at the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, where he earned his Doctorate in Economics.
