The entire event will be held on the Brella platform, which ensures easy and quick networking with other online attendees. You can create yourself a profile, see everyone else who is attending, utilize AI-powered matchmaking to find people with similar interests, and suggest 1-on-1 meetings and communicate with others. You are also able to add more attendees to your online meetings.

When will the event take place?

The event starts with our pre-show already at 2 pm EEST on 27 May, 2020. The main program starts at 3 pm EEST. You can find the stream and schedule once you’ve logged into Brella.

During the pre-show our host Lotta Backlund will be interviewing the trendspotting futurologist Magnus Lindkvist, innovation, design and management professor Alf Rehn, and the IMD world competitiveness professor Stephane Garelli amongst others. The official program at 3 pm starts with a keynote by Amy Webb.

Who can attend this event?

I already have a ticket to Nordic Business Forum Helsinki 2020, what should I do?

You will receive an email with your unique access URL prior to the event. In the same email, we will provide you with clear instructions on how to join the event. If you are part of a group attending the event, please be in touch with the person who bought the access to you as he/she will receive the instructions by email.

You will receive an email with your unique access URL prior to the event. In the same email, we will provide you with clear instructions on how to join the event.

How do I access the online event?

You can join the online event through the link we have sent to you by email. The link will direct you to the Brella event platform, where you can create your profile. Please remember to use the same login details every time you log in to our event platform. On the day of the event go to https://next.brella.io/auth and log in with the same login details you used before. During the online event, we strongly recommend you to use a desktop device and a Google Chrome browser to make sure all features of the event are available.

What do I need to participate in the online event?

The event will be web-based, so all you need is a computer and an internet connection. We highly recommend using a desktop device and Google Chrome browser in order to get the most out of the event. All of the features (e.g. the event stream) on the online event platform are not available on mobile devices. We also recommend using headphones during the event.

How do I watch the speeches?

On the event platform, you can enjoy the entire event program on the ‘Stream’ tab. Next to the event stream on the right, there is a section where you can post your questions to the speakers. On the same tab, above the stream window, you can also find a stream called “Graphic Recording”, which gives you the opportunity to follow Linda Saukko-Rauta’s graphic drawings while listening to the speakers.

How do I book meetings with other attendees?

In order to book meetings, you need to create a profile in Brella through the event invitation link you receive by email. Then, you can log in to Brella to join the event. We suggest you take your time to update your networking profile by choosing your interests. The AI-based matchmaking will recommend top matches to you based on your selections. You can see everyone registered for the event, but your most relevant matches are listed first. When you’re all set up, you can start suggesting 1:1 meetings and also accepting, canceling, and rescheduling the inbound meeting requests you have received.
