Changes in Nordic Business Forum’s Board of Directors

Nordic Business Forum receives new wisdom into its board for its next growth phase as Mika Mäkeläinen, Jenny Wolfram, Saku Tuominen, and Hans Janssen enter the board.
On 9 April 2021, we acquired the majority of shares at DenkProducties, which became a new key part of Nordic Business Forum as a group. Now, we are happy to announce that new members have been nominated to our board of directors as well in order to support our ambitious growth strategy.
Four new people with a wide range of competence and experience joined the board. Our new board members are:
- Mika Mäkeläinen, serial entrepreneur & author
- Jenny Wolfram, CEO & Founder at BrandBastion
- Saku Tuominen, a serial entrepreneur & awarded author
- Hans Janssen, co-founder and CEO of DenkProducties
Mika Mäkeläinen has been nominated as the new chairman. The previous chairman and co-founder Hans-Peter Siefen left the board to take on his new role as the Group CEO. He will be reporting on the performance and development of the group as a whole to the board of directors. Mäkeläinen is a long-time entrepreneur and is, for example, one of the founders at Siili Solutions Plc and Rainmaker Group. He has served on our board as the chairman previously as well (from 2013 to 2015).
“It’s great to get to be challenged and sparred by our new board members when starting a new phase for Nordic Business Forum as a group after expanding to the Netherlands. These new board members will bring a lot to both, our strategy in digital and physical/hybrid activities, and our international growth”, says the previous chairman of the board and the new Group CEO of Nordic Business Forum, Hans-Peter Siefen.
While our company welcomes the new members to the board, we also want to warmly thank Alf Rehn, Kirsi Piha, and Kim Väisänen for all their time and effort in developing Nordic Business Forum over the past years.
“Alf, Kirsi, and Kim have all contributed in a great way for multiple years and we stay forever thankful for that”, says Siefen.
