Camilla Hessellund Lastein – Purpose & Your Hierarchies of Priorities

Camilla Hessellund Lastein, the founder and CEO of a Danish e-learning platform Lix, is transforming the education industry. Dropping out of her studies at age 20, she started her journey to make education better by developing a platform that would be the ‘Spotify for Textbooks’.
With Lix, students can use digital content, including 620 000 text books, with prices up to 60% cheaper than printed textbooks, and optimize their time as Lix offers an automated learning experience. The 24-year-old Hessellund Lastein is taking on the challenge to make education accessible and personalized to everyone as she answers to the question of why education still lacks on digitized content, and why it is not engaging with the digital transformation to drop prices and to improve old-fashioned study habits.
